Shara Illiano has called New York City home for nearly 25 years, and has been nurturing her love of travel for just as long.
Always the friend organizing the dinners, get-togethers, and international trips, she founded Travelissima as a natural extension of her passion for bringing exceptional experiences to others.
A seasoned traveler, she has explored destinations from Bali and Bora Bora to South Africa, Tokyo, Monaco, and Morocco, to name a few. Whether planning a birthday getaway to Paris, a luxury honeymoon in South Africa, or a bucket-list family adventure through Iceland’s Golden Circle, Shara has the personal insight, trusted industry relationships, and dedication to detail that will ensure your trip is nothing short of remarkable.
When she isn’t curating incredible trips for her clients, she’s often traveling with her husband and two children — chasing sunsets, new snowboarding destinations, or returning to one of their favorite places in the world: Capri.
