Why should I work with a travel advisor instead of my credit card company?

Exceptional travel begins with elevated support. We work directly with the top GMs, sales directors, and concierge teams at the world’s best hotels — properties where relationships matter more than loyalty numbers.

Our long-standing partnerships with trusted global contacts ensure you receive curated guidance throughout your trip planning process. Every recommendation is intentional and informed.

Travelissima bookings include thoughtful touches, meticulous detail, VIP recognition, and real human advocacy. You will never be routed to a call center. If plans shift or challenges arise, we work directly with our partners to resolve issues quickly and discreetly on your behalf.

What do your itineraries include?

We offer two levels of planning services, and will decide together which is right for you.

Accomodations-Only. Recommendations and booking services for luxury 4- and 5- star hotels within our preferred network, inclusive of the usual perks. Basic airport transfers may be arranged. Additional concierge services are not included. *Pricing for luxury hotels begins around $750/night.

Fully-Inclusive. Curation of a fully comprehensive itinerary inclusive of luxury accomodations, transfers, private experiences, and guided tours in collaboration with one of our trusted local partners. *Custom itineraries begin around $1,500 per day (based on 2 travelers), depending heavily on seasonality and destination.

Flights may be booked for either itinerary with a $100 per person booking fee.

What perks do your bookings receive?

Through our global partnerships, you receive benefits that elevate every stay: room upgrades, breakfast, resort credits, priority recognition, and exclusive experiences not available online.

Travelissima clients are prioritized as preferred partners, meaning hotels review and allocate rooms to our reservations ahead of those made through credit card portals. You receive personalized room selection — not whatever happens to be left in portal inventory.

And if any issues arise during your travels, you have a dedicated advocate who will address them immediately on your behalf.

Do you charge a planning fee?

At this time, we do not charge planning fees for most itineraries; however, we ask that proposals are requested with a clear intention to book so that we can devote the appropriate level of care and attention to your trip.

Planning fees may be applied for complex itineraries, last-minute requests, or repeated proposal cycles without intent to move forward.

Flight bookings through our air desk are subject to a $100 per person fee, which includes 24/7 access to our support line for any changes or disruptions.

Does it cost more to book with you than on my own?

Accomodations booked through Travelissima are offered at rate parity, meaning the price you see online is the price you’ll pay. On occasion, we may receive preferred rates or exclusive packages, but you should not expect discounted pricing.

Fully-inclusive itineraries include white glove service from touchdown to takeoff, ensuring a completely seamless experience and real-time, on-the-ground support during your trip. You will work only with hand-picked guides and drivers and receive access to unique experiences not available online. This is not comparable to tours booked via concierges, online tour companies, or third party travel websites.

Can I use points and reward programs for my booking?

We cannot redeem credit card points or loyalty miles for flights or hotels. If you prefer to use miles, we recommend booking flights directly to maximize value while allowing Travelissima to curate the remainder of your trip.

Your loyalty numbers will always be added to your reservations when applicable so you can continue to earn points on qualifying stays and flights.
